How do I set default statuses for my organization?

You can create different status templates for different types of projects.

To do this, first go to your Account Settings then to “Status Templates” in the sidebar.

Here, you can edit your existing templates or create new ones.

You can edit the custom statuses in each template, name them, and set a default for future projects.

Now when you create a new project, you’ll be able to choose which status template you want to use.

You will have the ability to override the organization statuses for individual projects as well. To do this, just follow the steps listed in the “How do I create custom statuses?” support doc.
